Match the material to the contaminant, operating conditions and treatment goals.
Water & wastewater treatment
Granular and powdered activated carbon are used in water treatment to adsorb selected dissolved organic compounds. Selection depends on water quality, target compounds, contact time and the treatment system.

Air & gas purification
Pellet activated carbon is used in gas-phase adsorption, exhaust treatment and solvent recovery. Impregnated grades can address selected gases when the treatment chemistry and conditions are matched to the contaminant.
Provide gas composition, concentration, flow, temperature, humidity and the required breakthrough limit. A single impregnation grade should not be assumed suitable for every gas.

Decolorization & Refining
Powdered, wood-based and selected coconut-shell activated carbons for decolorization and liquid purification. Discuss feed composition, target color and purity requirements to select a suitable grade.
